Beat Billionaire started off wanting a rap career after developing skills due to his love for music. He always had a passion for creating music after becoming a fan of hip hop pioneers. “I learned from Timbaland, Teddy Riley, The Neptunes…” he explained when asked about his sound. After he learned music Production he decided to focus on it until he became a successful American record producer. Billionaire grew up in Southside Richmond, Virginia, along with his four brothers. He would later relocate to new york, where he and several other local artists formed Close Range Entertainment. The group started obtaining a lot of attention throughout the city, then caught the music industry’s attention. Billionaire worked with Method Man, Redman, Das Efx, and a few more familiar names. Parish Smith, a member of EPMD and hit-squad from Brentwood, New York, introduced Billionaire to T.I.’s Grand Hustle. He began working with T.I., Young Dro, Yung LA, Gucci Mane, and many more artists. Later he signed with Maybach Music Group. Since then, the talented producer has produced records for the entire MMG roster. One of his known masterpieces made the 2010 Rick Ross hit, “John Doe” and Wale’s hit single “Bag of Money.”
The hit single from the movie Suicide Squad, “Purple Lamborghini,” reached number 33 on the charts and number 6 on the hot dance/electronic chart and top 100 worldwide, then came with a Grammy nomination in 2016.
In a BMI interview Beat Billionaire expressed that all he needs to write music.
