Universal Music Publishing China, a division of Universal Music Publishing Group, has recently signed an exclusive worldwide publishing deal with Cheerful Music, a prominent music company in China. This means that Universal Music Publishing China will represent Cheerful Music’s songs and artists around the world, except in mainland China.

Cheerful Music has a great collection of popular songs, including “YI XIAO JIANG HU (KE MU SAN),” which became a huge hit on Douyin (the Chinese version of TikTok) with over 50 billion views. They also have other successful songs like “XIAO CHENG XIA TIAN,” “TA SHAN HE,” and “BAN SHENG XUE,” which have topped the charts on major streaming platforms in China.

Cheerful Music was founded in 2019 in Shenzhen and has a talented group of Chinese songwriters and artists. Some of their notable talents include Snow. J, Silk Ye, Cindy Dong, KeyKey, Huang Junze C-Jay, He Zhu, Yu Tang, and Reddi.

In order to expand internationally, Cheerful Music recently opened an office in London. This move allows them to collaborate with artists and songwriters from different countries. They have already worked with international talents like Erik Frank, Grand Nights, Shell Tenedero, Chloe Rose, J.O.Y, and Milan D’Agostini.
